This is a veritable minefield and one which sends small budget holders running.

Advertising is what most people think marketing is - and it’s expensive. So it doesn’t make our job easy!

Advertising is one part of the solution. It can cover newspaper advertising (regional or national), magazine advertising (glossy, specialist, associations, regional), television (yes, this one can be expensive, but it gets great rewards if done properly), outdoor, ambient and the internet, among others.

The main thing with this is getting the message right. Then it can work.
